Equity acquires Duni Corporation
Duni AB is a Swedish consumer products company
providing food services for airlines and catering companies.
They are known for customized food containers. Scope of
transaction is the US operations and subsidiaries based
in Georgia. North America operations was one of the fastest
growth areas within the company.
>>Texas
Pacific acquires Intergraph Corporation
Intergraph is one
of the oldest software and services firms. Texas Pacific
was joined by other private equity sources in completing
this deal. There will be other large deals announced in
the market for software for large utility infrastructure
and maintenance.
>>US
Bancorp acquires Vail Banks (parent of WestStar Bank)
WestStar Bank is a regional Colorado
based bank with offices in many of the ski areas throughout
Colorado. US Bancorp is the sixth largest financial services
company in the United States. This acquisition consolidates
its existing Colorado offices with WestStar's 23 branch
operations.
>>Babcock &
Brown acquires Superior Renewable Energy
Superior Renewable Energy focuses on
wind energy facilities in the US. Babcock & Brown is
a global investment and advisory firm with a division focused
on infrastructure and project finance. Babcock and Brown
is listed on the Australian exchange (ASX: BNB) with over
twenty offices worldwide.
>>Middleby Corporation
acquires Houno AS
Middleby supplys commercial cooking and
kitchen equipment. Houno, located in Denmark offers combi-ovens
noted for unique designs and technological innovations.
Middleby has very large plans to expand through the acquisition
of Enodis PLC, a UK firm. Enodis manufactures ice makers,
refrigerators and other equipment.
>>CRH PLC has
acquired RSI Roofing
RSI Roofing is a leading provider of roofing
products and services in San Diego, CA. CRH PLC is a public
Irish company providing asphalt and related materials in
over 300 locations. CRH will continue to make select acquisitions
throughout the US.
